There seems to be scammers and rip off artists who approach people and tell them they work for Dent Time and can provide professional paintless dent removal and bumper repair. These criminals gain the trust of their victims by saying they are doing work on the side and to look at Dent Time's website for reassurance. DON'T TRUST THEM!

If you are willing to take a chance and have someone who has no identification, (uniform, marked vehicle and business card) then you are setting your self up for a scam.

Our professional team works only by appointment and operates with a work order before the job is performed. Unfortunately, some people fall for these traps and in the end spend more money fixing what these con-artists and scammers did. Don't fall victim. How Do These Scammers Operate?

They case parking lots and neighborhoods to observe if there are possible victims who might have dents, bumper damage, scratches and so forth. They either wait till the victim comes to the vehicle or even in some cases follow them home. They have also been known to knock on doors in neighborhoods as well.

Next, they tell the victim they work for a trusted company like Dent Time and is offering side work for a cheaper price. The scammer insists they look at the Dent Time website to re-ensure their trust.  Then the unthinkable happens. The victim agrees and lets the scammer work on the vehicle.

Last, the scammer claims he's finished. The work below shows their so called "finished work". They set up their get away by also claiming the repair has to set for 24 hours and can be waxed off the next day. WRONG!! The criminals never fixed anything in the first place. Just applied bondo with compound and rubbed it in and let dry. In the end, they do more damage and cost you more money. It's a shame these con-artists get away with people who trust they will do a good job. Unfortunately, they have no concious and don't care.

• Never allow work without a Work Order
• Don't trust people who approach you and want to do the work right away
• Ask if they have proof if they are licensed and BAR registered
• Get their license plate and contact police right away
• Never pay anyone until the job is complete to your satisfaction!
